Samsung has launched two new 5G smartphones under its Galaxy A-series in India. These are the Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G. While the A15 5G starts at just under Rs 20,000, the A25 5G is priced upwards of Rs 25,000. Spec-wise, the two phones seem competitive even if their design scheme might look a bit dated, especially the waterdrop-style notch at the front.
Both phones are launching days before Xiaomi’s big Redmi Note 13 series India launch and in case you’re wondering, chances are that the A15 5G will compete with the Redmi Note 13 5G while the A25 5G will take on the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. We’ll keep you posted should that happen, but for now here’s a quick rundown on everything you need to know about Samsung’s new Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G.
Front camera: Both phones come with a 13-megapixel selfie camera.Battery: Both the phones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging (no charger bundled in the box).Speakers: The A25 5G packs stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos playback natively. The A15 5G has a mono speaker setup.Biometrics: You get a side-mounted physical fingerprint reader in both the phones.Price, availability: The Galaxy A15 5G comes in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB trims for Rs 19,499 and Rs 22,499. The Galaxy A25 5G is available with the same memory configurations for Rs 26,999 and Rs 29,999. General availability is pegged for January 1, 2024 across retail stores, Samsung.com, and other online portals.
