The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday said that the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra’ is unlikely to yield any benefits for his party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Union minister and BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi said that it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has provided justice to everyone by ensuring that development reaches all. She made light of the Yatra as “mere sloganeering” and said it will not “fool” people, PTI reported.

“How will those who induct members of tukde-tukde gang and create division on the line of caste and region will provide justice. It was the Modi government which set up an SIT probe to provide justice to 1984-anti sikh riots,” he added.

Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi called Rahul’s visits as mere “time-pass.” “When the public has resolved to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third time in 2024, then Rahul’s visits are just a time-pass,” he said
The Bharat Nyay Yatra will start from Manipur’s capital Imphal on January 14 end in Maharashtra’s Mumbai on March 20.
The Yatra comes a year after the culmination of the 4,500-km foot march undertaken by the Congress MP between September 7, 2022 and January 30, 2023. While the Bharat Jodo Yatra covered 12 states along its journey, the Bharat Nyay Yatra will traverse through 85 districts across 14 states.
