Salaar Box Office Collection on Day 4: ‘Salaar: Part One- Ceasefire,’ featuring Prabhas in the lead role, is enjoying significant success at the box office since its release just ahead of an extended weekend. The Christmas festivities have contributed to a surge in its earnings, with the upcoming New Year period anticipated to further boost its box office performance.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Salaar has garnered a net collection of Rs 254.87 crore at the Indian box office within the first four days of its release. On its fourth day, coinciding with Christmas, the film is estimated to have earned Rs 45.77 crore net.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, renowned for the blockbuster KGF series, Salaar achieved a remarkable global gross of Rs 178.7 crore on its release day, as reported by film industry analyst Sumit Kadel on Twitter.
Prabhas, a superstar in Telugu cinema, enjoyed immense popularity, resulting in substantial pre-release numbers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to Track Tollywood, the theatrical rights for the film were sold for approximately Rs 165 crore in these two states, marking the second-highest figure after SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR.’
Salaar has secured its place as the third film to surpass Rs 150 crore in the AP-TG region, with ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘RRR’ claiming the top spots. The film has proven to be financially successful, surpassing the break-even mark of Rs 200 crore and establishing itself as a box office hit.
Produced under the banner of Hombale Films, Salaar was initially scheduled for release on September 28 but was later postponed to December 22 for a worldwide theatrical release. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the movie also features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruthi Haasan, and Madhu Guruswamy in pivotal roles, showcasing 14 grand sets in and around Ramoji Film City.
