The Assam government has issued a notification announcing openings for more than 10,000 positions within the education department. Ranoj Pegu, education minister of Assam has shared details on the recruitment efforts. According to Pegu, the Directorate of Secondary Education has advertised positions for the recruitment of 1,424 postgraduate teachers and 7,249 graduate teachers across various subjects in provincialised secondary schools, according to an official statement.
Additionally, the Directorate of Elementary Education has released ads for hiring 3,800 assistant teachers for LP schools and 1,750 assistant teachers, Science teachers and Hindi teachers for Uttar Pradesh (UP) schools, the statement mentioned.
