Sourav Ganguly, an acclaimed cricket legend, has long been revered for his sporting prowess. Contrary to expectations that his daughter, Sana Ganguly, would tread the familiar path of cricket, she has instead charted a distinctive career trajectory, now flourishing in the corporate world with an enviable salary package.
Born in 2001 to the legendary cricketer and former BCCI chief, Sana Ganguly, at 21 years old, has opted to forge her professional journey, currently thriving in one of the world’s largest multinational corporations (MNCs).
Sana’s academic journey began at Loreto House School in Kolkata, culminating in her pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Economics at UCL. Throughout her college tenure, she diligently completed several internships, showcasing her commitment to building a robust and diverse skill set.
During her UCL graduation, Sana immersed herself in full-time work at the campus company Enactus. Also, she gained experience with major firms such as HSBC, KPMG, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, ICICI, and more. This extensive exposure fortified her resume for future endeavors.
Upon nearing the completion of her graduation, Sana embarked on an internship at the globally renowned PwC, one of the largest MNCs. Reports indicate that the internship package offered by PwC to their skilled workforce reaches an impressive Rs 30 lakh per annum.
After successfully completing her PwC internship, Sana shifted her focus to another corporate giant, Deloitte. Commencing her internship in June of this year, it is anticipated to extend until September. Industry insights from Glassdoor and various recruitment websites suggest that Deloitte’s internship packages range from Rs 5 lakh to 12 lakh per annum, contingent on the department.
