The Centre of Excellence for Aerospace Manufacturing Manpower Capacity Building has been launched at Aequs SEZ. The initiative is a tripartite collaboration between Aequs Private Limited, Medhavi Skills University and National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC), as per the official announcement.
This CoE aims to equip youth with the latest, industry-relevant technical education. Designed under the new National Credit Framework and National Education Policy 2020, this programme offered under the Centre of Excellence aims to offer technical education, making it more practical, relevant and accessible.
Officials claim one of the aspects of the programme is the integration of On-the-Job based higher education and Skills training, which has emerged as a potent solution to the dual challenges of youth employability and the industry’s quest for skilled manpower.
“We are happy to partner with Medhavi Skill University and NSDC to come up with this unique Degree – Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) in Aerospace Manufacturing Technology.
