Due to bad weather conditions, the Delhi airport saw eight flights get diverted today, PTI reported citing an official. The diversions occurred between 6 am to 9 am. While seven flights were diverted to Jaipur, Rajasthan, one was diverted to Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
Delhi Airport issues advisory amid poor visibility
To deal with the foggy conditions, the authorities activated the CAT-III Instrument Landing System (ILS), facilitating precision approaches and landings in low runway visibility. Similarly, dense fog affected flight operations at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad.
